Founded in 1980, Petro-Valve, Inc. was the creation of Texas entrepreneur and businessman, Marek Menger. From his humble upbringing in Houston, Texas, Mr. Menger learned the values of hard work and dedication to his community. Over the course of his 36 year tenure as President, his grit and boundless energy built Petro-Valve, Inc. into a successful multimillion-dollar organization. He channelled his time and energy into growing both its revenue and its physical capacity, having moved it from its first 10,000-square-foot facility to a 50,000 square foot facility to accomodate the company's continued expansion. However, it wasn't always easy and Mr. Menger's Texas roots taught him to never back down in the face of adversity. In fact, during the devastating oil bust of 1983, Marek Menger took a major risk and saw the opportunity to purchase more inventory while other companies were cutting back or even closing their doors. His bold decision-making through good times and bad allowed Petro-Valve, Inc. to continue it's trajectory of growth through the challenging 80's and beyond.

Marek Menger's success quickly gained the respect of leaders in the oil and gas industry. He has earned numerous accolades from industry publications including a feature mention in the Supply House Times, which described the personal dedication and drive behind his success. The company achieved distinction as a national valve distributor for leading manufacturers including Edward, Vogt, Durco, Worcester, Crane, Powell, Walworth, DSI, and other US based companies. Under Mr. Menger's astute leadership, Petro-Valve, Inc. consistently exceeded over $50 million in annual sales revenue. Over the years, Mr. Menger has proudly mentored numerous talented employees and acquaintances who have since become leaders in their own right.

Beyond his track record in business, Mr. Menger has an equally impressive history of giving back to the Houston community. Over the years, he oversaw Petro-Valve's involvement with numerous charitable organizations including the Boys and Girls Club of Houston, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The American Cancer Society, Peacehaven Community Farms, Cherokee Crossroads, and the BP MS 150. Mr. Menger partnered with the Precinct 1 Constables to purchase and give away of hundreds of new bicycles for Houston's underprivileged kids. Unlike other generous business leaders, Mr. Menger rarely sought recognition for his support and generosity, instead allowing the organizations and deserving families take center stage and lend inspiration to others in need.

IN 2016, Marek Menger began to see other opportunities in the valve industry beyond his role at Petro-Valve, Inc. In 2017, Mr. Menger refocused his immense talents to launch his newest venture, Menger Valve, Inc. His unprecedented track record of success, experience, and knowledge already have Menger Valve, Inc. on the fast track to become a major competitor and leader in the valve industry.
